BPX – New Bidirectional Progressive Safety Gear for Elevators with Load Capacity up to 2,826 kg
The new BPX Bidirectional Progressive Safety Gear for elevators is now available, designed to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency in any lift system. Born from technical expertise and continuous innovation, BPX is a robust, versatile and highly configurable solution, designed to adapt to a wide range of applications.
High performance and maximum compatibility
The device is certified for a maximum load of 2,826 kg and a maximum tripping speed of 2.50 m/s. It is compatible with 8, 9, 10 and 16 mm guide-rails – drawn, machined, dry or lubricated, making it suitable for both standard installations and special or high-performance systems.
Operating kits: five configurations for every need
The BPX Progressive Safety Gear is available with 5 different types of operating kits, designed to meet all mechanical and dimensional installation requirements:
• Type A: designed for ring frame applications, includes the safety gear with direct linkage attachment and the possibility to adjust the rail gauge (DBG) from 500 to 4000 mm.
• Type B: ideal for ring frame, offers an adjustable rope drop for the overspeed governor and linkage attachment directly on the safety gear, with wide adjustment range for the rail gauge (DBG) from 500 to 4000 mm.
• Type C: similar to type B, but with linkage attachment on the crosshead and without adjustable governor rope drop.
• Type D: similar to type C, but also includes adjustable governor rope drop.
• Type E: designed for Cantilever frame (side guide shoes), offers adjustable rail gauge (DBG) from 500 to 4000 mm, adjustable governor rope drop, and linkage attachment on the crosshead.
Thanks to these configurations, BPX perfectly fits both new installations and modernization projects, ensuring easy, safe and precise installation.
Custom synchronization shafts
The system can be completed with synchronization shafts available in various lengths, from 500 mm up to 4000 mm, to meet all design requirements and ensure proper operation even in systems with wide rail spacing.
